Nides is an expert Relationship and Marriage Counselor, Trauma specialist, Anxiety expert, and Grief Counselor. She teaches couples how to thrive in their relationships and repair damage. She works with individuals to overcome trauma, process grief, and overcome anxiety. She is a Licensed Counselor that works exclusively with individuals and couples that are seeking tools to THRIVE, rather than just survive. Nides' other specialties include working with clients suffering from body dysmorphic disorder, low-self esteem, eating disorders, panic and OCD, substance abuse, and couples who are struggling after infidelity or other issues that have impacted the relationship. She does this through a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and a Client-Centered approach. Her primary focus when working with couples or individuals is to provide a tailor-fit experience so that each session is designed for you and your specific therapy goals. Nides uses an integrative approach to therapy at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching and Counseling's. She is a Level 3 Gottman Couples Relationship Expert, a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT,) and uses techniques of Hypnotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Neurofeedback, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Psychotherapy to ensure every client receives a personalized experience.

When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for mental health therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for counseling. Nides wants your experience to be unique, personal, and specifically tailored to meet your personal or relationship goals in as few sessions as possible. She will provide an environment that is designed for success and show you what it takes to thrive.

Rates

Nides offers 50-90 minute therapy sessions based on the service provided. She is a licensed clinician with a diverse professional skill set that will surpass that of many counselors. You can expect to receive the highest quality of care, with access to multiple therapeutic interventions that will help you reach your therapy goals quickly.

Nides' Clinical Background

Nides received her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University. Her specialization is in family and marital counseling, and by utilizing the framework of Gottman therapy, she assists couples and families in navigating common issues that may arise in a relationship. Having extensively worked with clients battling addictions and eating disorders, she has built her therapy around developing appropriate coping skills. Her methodical framework is centered on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Positive Psychology. As a counselor, Nides is educated on various theoretical frameworks and has been exposed to an array of issues that include depression, low self-esteem, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, addictions, Co-dependency, Toxic Relationship Patterns, Self-Limiting Beliefs, and much more.
