Kim Breton is formally certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Gottman Level 3 Couple's Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Infidelity, Brainspotting (Trauma therapy), Shame and Guilt, Body Image, and Eating Disorders. She works with couples, young adults, college students, tweens/teens, families, and individuals. She also provides exclusive in-home marriage therapy and family counseling.

Kim has a strong background in life coaching, mentorship, and psychoeducation. She uses these skills to help her clients clearly uncover root causes and create strong action plans for lasting change. Her sincere passion for helping couples repair and renew their lost connections gives each of her couples a strong guide who truly understands where they are coming from AND where they want to be. In her work with adult individuals, her primary focus is to help them eliminate negative barriers, emotional roadblocks, relationship obstacles, and develop the self-insight truly necessary for real change. Kim uses her strong skill set in a variety of therapeutic interventions to create an individualized therapy experience and give each person she works with the tools they need to thrive, rather than just survive.

We use a combination of psychotherapy, lifestyle coaching, mindfulness, and counseling which provides you a holistic approach for the best outcome. Kim's rates are based on the services she offers and she will discuss the best course of treatment for your unique circumstance during your initial appointment.

What to Expect

When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Her empathy and warmth will help create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you will feel empowered for growth, personal or professional enrichment, and overall healing.

Rates

Kim’s rates for therapy vary based on the service provided. She offers pre-paid packages at a reduced rate and will gladly discuss this offer during your initial consultation. Payment is due at the time of your session.

Kim's Clinical Background

Kim has a Master of Arts degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. To add to her counseling expertise, Kim also has a Master's in Education and a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Science. Kim is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the State of Florida. Kim also has a background as a tennis player and a college athlete. She uses this training and life experience to further enhance her motivational approach for her clients to achieve optimal results.
