Sarah utilizes an eclectic approach of therapy interventions while also utilizing empowerment and acceptance of oneself to give her client’s the right tools they need to overcome obstacles as well as be the best version of themselves. It is Sarah’s passion to guide client’s in unwrapping their thoughts and feelings through creating a warm, welcoming, and trusting space; as each client’s concerns are unique. Sarah believes that therapy is a partnership between the client and therapist, as she believes that everyone has the ability to overcome any obstacles they face with the proper tools as well as guidance.

Sarah enjoys working with clients from varying backgrounds, minorities, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Sarah believes strongly in using culturally informed therapeutic interventions as well as guiding clients in gaining insight into deeply rooted concerns, as these underlying concerns can affect the day-to-day interactions with one’s self and others. Through guiding clients in gaining insight, Sarah focuses on healing and growth within oneself and relationships; guiding client’s in understanding themselves. Sarah is trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as uses Attachment theory, Person- Centered approaches, Psychodynamic therapy, Multicultural therapy, Gottman Therapy for couples, and mindfulness-based interventions. Sarah has worked with varying presenting concerns as well as a variety of age groups, such as relationship issues, depression, anxiety, college populations, ADHD, life changes, family concerns, cultural issues, trauma, and is open to many more. She teaches all her clients the importance of awareness of one’s emotions, validating them, as well empowering oneself to accept change, heal and grow.

We use a combination of psychotherapy, life coaching, mindfulness, and therapeutic techniques which provides you with a holistic approach for the best outcome. Sarah's rates are based on the services she offers, and she will discuss with you the best course of treatment for your unique circumstance during your initial appointment.

What to Expect

When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Sarah's counseling space will welcome you immediately and her open demeanor will encourage you to feel instantly safe.

Rates

Sarah's rates for therapy vary based on the service provided. She offers prepaid memberships at a reduced rate and will gladly discuss this offer during your initial consultation. Payment is due at the time of your session.

Sarah's Clinical Background

Sarah is a registered mental health counselor intern and holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida in Clinical Psychology. Her mental health experience in the psychology field prior to private practice included providing therapy to college students as well as individual and group therapies in inpatient and outpatient settings to adolescents, adults, and families with mental health struggles and to at-risk youth. Sarah is open, honest, and prides herself in creating a space where clients can be their true self.
