Mallory Hawkes is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHI) in the state of Florida. She works exclusively with clients in the Orlando area in private practice at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling.
Mallory has found her calling in working with young adult women and men who are dealing with life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career changes, trauma, and identity issues. She has fine-tuned her therapeutic skills to help people find their sense of purpose, regain confidence, and feel empowered by their decision making. Mallory approaches every person that she works with an open mind and heart. Through this approach, she is able to quickly build rapport and create a place where true self-awareness can pave the way for the highest level of personal and/or professional growth to occur. She connects with a diverse population which includes millennials, young executives, college students, adult women and men, and LGBTQ+. Mallory uses a variety of tools to help each of the individuals she works within therapy to achieve the quality of life they are seeking.
Mallory has been an integral part in supporting the mission of Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling. She continues to use an integrative counseling perspective, along with other core therapeutic foundations to ensure each client receives individualized care. She uses modalities that provide the best evidence-based results such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused, Client-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based practices. She does not believe there is a “one-size-fits-all” treatment approach. Keeping this in mind, she helps each client meet their therapy goals in the least amount of time possible.
Please contact Mallory if you would like to have a consultation to see if you might be a good fit.
Note about insurance: Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling is a self-pay practice, so we do not accept insurance. Mallory offers a sliding scale fee and her rates are comparable to what you might pay with a co-pay. Please inquire about this as an option at the time of your consultation as these spaces are limited.
When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Mallory will provide a confidential, open space where you will feel welcome. You will receive empathy, compassion, and support to allow for self-awareness to bring about the change you are seeking.
Mallory’s rates for a 50-minute therapy session vary based on the service provided. She offers a limited amount of reduced rate sessions, so please ask during your consultation, if you feel this may be something you need. Payment is due at the time of your session.
Mallory Hawkes received her Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling and psychology from Keiser University. Mallory has worked in different settings from community mental health, to private practice. She continues to do both types of work, always learning new, effective ways to help clients achieve the changes they are seeking. Mallory works with clients who have anxiety or depression, self-worth issues, problems in their career or relationships, difficulty with motivation, or are experiencing roadblocks to their success, and people going through a break-up or loss. She enjoys working in private practice and looks forward to hearing from you anytime.
