She has received extensive training in Rapid Resolution therapy and is a Qualified Supervisor. She works exclusively with clients in the Orlando area in private practice at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling.
Tara Sudsiri is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, a Certified Addiction Professional and a Certified Practitioner in Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). She specializes in clearing traumas and optimizing the mind for living fully. Tara has provided women’s therapy and men’s therapy to individuals (adults and children) struggling with mood and personality disorders as well as those with issues of adjustment, abuse, grief and loss, relationship problems, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, anger, PTSD, and low self-esteem.
Tara has been providing clinical services and improving the mental health and lives of others for over 15 years. She is clinically trained as an expert relationship therapist and marriage counselor through the Gottman Method couple’s therapy certification process. She also specializes in specific mindfulness techniques and neurofeedback for anxiety relief, depression, trauma relief, and obsessive thinking patterns. Tara believes in a holistic approach to therapy and includes lifestyle coaching in her practice. This allows each of her clients to make positive changes for not only their mental health but also their spiritual and physical well-being.
Tara’s therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to each individual or couple’s needs. She believes that it is important to offer her clients a variety of therapeutic approaches, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Tara’s approach includes but is not limited to Rapid Resolution Therapy, Meditation, Hypnosis, Metaphors, Visualizations, Mindfulness, Mind Body Spirit Healing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

When scheduling your first session, you will be sent a link to complete HIPPA compliant paperwork through an electronic portal. The first session will focus on Tara getting to know you so she can conduct a thoughtful assessment that will help you define goals for your counseling experience. Tara will provide compassion, empathy, and confidence so that you can share your concerns, feelings, and emotions without judgment. You will be given tools that will teach you to thrive in your life, not just survive.
Tara’s rates for a 50-minute session can vary based on the need of the client. Her skill set and experience offer a great level of expertise to the clients she serves. Orlando Thrive Therapy does not bill insurance and payment is expected at the start of each session. Discount package rates are available and can be discussed during your first appointment.
Tara graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University. She has extensive work experience in administration, insurance, community mental health, and residential treatment, assessment, diagnosis, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient counseling for mental health, medical problems/adjustments, addictions, and trauma resolution counseling. Additionally, Tara is a Florida Approved Clinical Supervisor working with those who have a Master’s degree in Counseling. She provides guidance to registered counseling interns who are obtaining their post-degree clinical hours receive the supervision required to obtain the Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor credentials.
