Lauren Miceli is a Graduate Level intern in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Colorado Christian University. She works exclusively with clients in the Orlando area in private practice at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling.
Lauren uses an integrative approach to counseling by incorporating her life coaching background with expert therapeutic interventions. She has developed a passion for teaching her clients how to rise above even the most seemingly adverse circumstances, and sudden life changes, through personal empowerment. Lauren dedicates her attention to teaching her clients the skills to solve limiting beliefs that might come from negative thoughts, limited resources or opportunities, and an inability in the moment to see the forest through the trees. She has developed a unique approach to working with anyone who feels lost or in pain, and in need of direction. She believes everyone has the ability, when given the right guide, to tap into their internal power to thrive.
Lauren combines lifestyle coaching with traditional therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and she is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) informed when working with individuals. Lauren is also trained in Gottman Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples who feel disconnected, unable to communicate, and who have lost feelings of affection, intimacy, or feelings of kindness for each other. She works hard with her clients to make sure they learn that they don't have to settle for "good enough," when "best" is something they can achieve with her help.
Please contact Lauren to find out more about her approach and schedule an intake appointment to get started today.
Note about insurance: Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling is a self-pay practice, so we do work directly with any insurance companies. We use a combination of psychotherapy, life coaching, mindfulness, and expert therapeutic techniques which provides you with an integrative approach for the best outcome. Lauren's rates are based on the services she offers, and she will discuss the best course of treatment for your unique circumstance during your initial appointment.
When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Lauren will make sure you feel heard and seen during all of your sessions, free of judgment, and criticism. She prides herself on being the light that her clients need to see through any darkness that might be in their way.
Lauren's rates for therapy vary based on the service provided. She offers pre-paid packages at a reduced rate and will gladly discuss this offer during your initial consultation. Payment is due at the time of your session.
