Constance Nelson is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHI) in the state of Florida. She works exclusively with clients in the Orlando area in private practice at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling.
Constance believes that life is always happening for you, not to you. She uses her therapy practice to help you awaken your true self through self-realization and emotional freedom techniques. Constance has an extensive background as a life coach and has the mindset that everyone is capable of change. There are no limits when you are awakened to and given the tools to overcome the roadblocks that have been preventing you from being your best self, having your best relationship, or living the life of your dreams. Constance will set the stage in her therapy sessions that will allow for deep, emotional healing and personal growth. Her therapeutic practice focuses on helping couples that are in need of foundational repair, deeper emotional connection, and healing from within. She provides warmth, compassion, and empathy to individuals while providing them with evidence-based therapeutic strategies to develop the insight they need to make lasting change. Constance shares her passion for what she does through her energy and inspires her clients to overcome any obstacle to achieve self-fulfillment. Her practice includes a wide range of professionals struggling with anxiety, career issues, or in need of coaching, married or dating couples dealing with relationship issues, women and men seeking more self-fulfillment or life changes, and individuals that have experienced trauma. Constance has an extensive history of diverse training in a variety of integrative therapy techniques that she applies during her counseling sessions.
Constance believes in using the integrative therapy approach behind Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching and Counseling's mission to create lasting change. She has extensive training in Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method for couples, and life coaching. She uses these skill sets not as a “formula,” for everyone, but as a guide to ensure that each client she works with has access to the best resources for successful outcomes.

Note about insurance: Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling is a self-pay practice, so we do not accept insurance. Constance’s rates are based on the services you receive and will be discussed during your initial consultation. Payment is due at the time of the session.
When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Constance prides herself on providing unconditional acceptance for any person, regardless of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. She will give you respect and compassion, allowing you to feel comfortable to identify any therapy goals you have without judgment or criticism.
Constance’s rates for a 50-minute therapy session vary based on the service provided. She has a diverse professional skillset that will surpass that of many counselors. You can expect to receive the highest quality of care, with access to multiple therapeutic interventions that will help you reach your therapy goals quickly.
Constance Nelson received her Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling and psychology from Capella University. Constance worked independently as a life coach for many years, transforming lives through coaching until she decided to pursue a professional degree in mental health. Through this pursuit, she has been able to expand her practice to effectively influence change for her clients on an even deeper level. Her energy for her work translates to her clients, inspiring and igniting them to make the changes they are seeking. Her work with married couples and relationship counseling is all about shifting from the narrative to the emotional connection. Her passion is providing you, or your relationship, with the emotional integrity needed for growth, change and better quality existence to happen.
