Cassie Brodsky is a practicum intern student working on graduation hours towards her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. She works under the direct supervision of Heather Oller, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching and Counseling.
Cassie believes in working in partnership with clients, utilizing their strengths to help them sort out their challenges and achieve their goals. She also realizes how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems (family, friends), work or the school environment, and faith/spirituality in this process.
Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, Cassie draws from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. As a therapist, Cassie is warm, open, encouraging, and direct. She is an active therapist, combining experience, education, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down-to-earth, realistic approach to counseling.
Cassie offers women's therapy, men's therapy, anxiety therapy, relationship counseling, sex therapy, porn addiction therapy and individual counseling for anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. She also treats individuals who are going through life transitions such as adjustment to illness, divorce, and grief.
Please contact Cassie if you would like to have a consultation to see if you might be a good fit.
Note about insurance: Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching and Counseling is a self-pay practice, so we do not work directly with insurance companies. While Cassie works towards completing her internship hours, she will be offering a reduced rate on a sliding scale, comparable to what you might pay with a co-pay. Please inquire about this as an option at the time of your consultation as these spaces are limited.
When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Cassie will ensure that your confidentiality and concerns are heard, validated, and respected while you begin to chart a course toward developing the tools you need to start thriving.
Cassie's rates for a 50-minute therapy session are based on the service you receive. She is offering reduced rates for a temporary period of time while she gains experience and hours towards her Mental Health Counseling degree. Payment is due at the time of the session.
Cassie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education and Nutrition from the University of Florida and is currently a practicum intern student at Texas Tech University obtaining a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Her passion lies in helping every person she works with to develop the tools they need to maximize their core strengths and overcome barriers to success. Through her own personal journey and life transitions she has developed an intuitive approach to therapy. This allows her the ability to offer her clients insight and feedback for a strong connection and empowerment to thrive.
