Heather Oller is the owner and vision behind Orlando Thrive Therapy, Counseling & Coaching. She has spent almost 20 years as a mental health professional and 10 of those have been in private practice. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University. She began her work in 2000 in the community mental health setting with dual diagnosis clients, led a residential program, and supervised a community case management team. When she received her Florida mental health counseling license in 2008 she began her own private practice. Throughout the years she has become a skilled therapist with specializations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, life transition therapy, grief counseling, anxiety therapy, life coaching for personal or professional growth, relationship therapy, and individual therapy for women and men. She is also a Florida Supreme Court family mediator and qualified parent coordinator, specially trained in conflict resolution and negotiation. She is an Orlando, Florida native, with two young boys, ages 14 and 10. Her life experiences have fueled her passions in her therapy work and counseling practice. She has completed additional training's that align her with her core values and provide the best therapeutic environment for her clients to make change. She is sincere in her feedback, based off of many years of experience working, learning, and helping people through therapy. She has a very real, authentic, humanistic approach to therapy that is empowering, directive, and honest.
Mallory Hawkes joined the Orlando Thrive Therapy team in May 2018. Mallory is a University of Central Florida graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She specializes in helping women, college students, new couples, LGBTQ+, and young adults. Her special interests are in helping people find their purpose, inner confidence, acceptance strategies, and find ways to eliminate fears or anxieties. She teaches couples how to resolve conflict more peacefully, how to use effective listening, and better communication techniques. She has completed over 1000 internship hours under Heather Oller’s direct supervision and she will be a registered mental health counselor intern after graduating from Keiser University’s mental health counseling program. She is passionate about helping her clients set and achieve personal life goals, advocate for their personal needs, feel empowered in their choices, and focus on the importance of self-worth. Mallory is a strong believer in integrative methods of therapy, finding the correct approach for each individual case ranging from CBT, to solution-focused, and positive psychology. Mallory is thoughtful, genuine, compassionate, and intuitive. She relates well to her clients and provides a solid support for them to feel empowered enough to make real change while holding them accountable for their goals.

Krista Knowles holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Psychology. Krista joined Orlando Thrive Therapy with the shared passion to holistically support individuals and couples through all walks of life and change. Her special areas of interest support her values, and her passion for helping clients thrive, rather than just survive. She is skilled at using a variety of therapeutic techniques that include Mindfulness-Based interventions, Emotionally Focused therapy, Humanistic counseling, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy to encourage personal and professional growth. Her focus is on helping couples and individuals build stronger connections and increase self-awareness for lasting change. She is also a certified yoga instructor, qualified to guide clients through mindfulness techniques proven to reduce tension, eliminate anxiety, cope with PTSD symptoms, and manage the physical responses to stress. She embodies compassion, empathy, and an optimistic mindset that helps her clients through the darkest of times. Krista holds a peaceful, safe, strong space for her clients to be able to create change and achieve their goals quickly.
